Young Voices Concert

On Wednesday the 31st January, The Pines School choir travelled to the O2 to take part in the Young Voices Concert, singing with 8000 children to a packed out audience. This event is the World’s largest children’s series of concerts that run in arenas in The UK through the Spring term and we were thrilled to be able to participate for the second year. Our children and teachers worked so hard since September to learn the complex songs and dance moves ready for our performance night! And what a night it was! We were accompanied by a brilliant band and conducted by a renowned conductor. We joined in with beatbox performances, famous singers and even had a dance off with the parents!

Our children were exceptionally behaved and sung their hearts out, representing the school and their families brilliantly. They were a real credit to us all. Well done to all the children who make us proud everyday. A big thank you to our parents who journeyed up to support us in the audience. We also want to thank the PTA for supporting us in purchasing Tshirts, branded HI-Vis vests and our school banner for us. We can’t wait for next year! On behalf of the whole school community, we would like to say a big thank you to Mrs Smith, Mrs Price and Mrs Stewart who willingly gave up their time in order to provide a very memorable experience for our children. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
