It would also be great if you could practise your alphabet and handwriting today, Sophia.

 

This will need to be completed on lined paper. You can use any pencils or pens that you like (maybe every row could be a different colour!).

 

Write the whole alphabet in lower case letters unjoined first.

 

a b c d e f g...

 

Then join two letters at a time (other than trick letters to join).

 

ab  cd  ef  

 

Then join three letters at a time.

 

abc  def  ghi

 

Then 4: abcd  efgh

 

Then 5:  abcde fghij

 

Think carefully about which letters drop below to line. Singing the alphabet song may help remember what letter comes next.
