An autism diagnosis can be difficult to come to terms with for:

• parents / carers
• brothers or sisters
• the child with the diagnosis

To help you and your family find new ways to understand and cope with autism in the family (including explaining a new diagnosis), the National Autistic Society provides lots of information.

Local support

Autism Berkshire is the local support group for information, ideas and support for families in the Bracknell Forest area.
