Summer Term!

Hello everyone and welcome back after half term. We hope that you have had a restful and relaxing break and are ready for some new and exciting learning this half term.

Please go onto your class page to view your weekly tasks and additional information. Don't forget, you will all be getting a phone call from your teacher at some point this week for a quick chat and update to see how you are doing!

PLEASE CONTINUE TO READ AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!

Phase Challenge

Here is the Lockdown Legacy mentioned in Friday's weekly newsletter. So the phase challenge for the next few weeks is to have a think about something creative you could do as your entry for the Gallery of Silver Linings which will be in school from September.

Well Done Reenie!

Well done Reenie in Hawthorn, who completed 13.1 miles in May for the charity MIND and has raised over £280! We are very proud of you.

Competition winner Ben!

Well done to Ben in Larch who entered a 'Beautiful Butterflies' competition run by the Lexicon shopping centre. As the runner up of the competition, he won a £15 Lexicon gift voucher and his picture will be displayed in Princess Square shopping centre in the near future. You can see his entry below. Brilliant work, Ben!

WELL DONE GRACE!

Some incredible news for you to begin this week - Grace in Larch class has managed to help raise £2500 for the NHS by taking part in an aerobic gymnastics routine with 200 other gymnasts over zoom. This is a fantastic achievement and we are all very proud of Grace for doing this. As you can see from the pictures below, it looks like she had fun doing it as well! Well done Grace!

New Email Addresses

An exciting new addition to the summer term is the introduction of new email addresses for each individual class. This means that you are able to send work to, and communicate with, your own class teacher if you have any questions about the work or you want to send in all of the amazing things you have been doing!

Hawthorn - hawthorn@thepinesschool.org.uk

Larch - larch@thepinesschool.org.uk

Ash - ash@thepinesschool.org.uk

Don't forget, you can continue to send examples of work to the learning@thepinesschool.org.uk email address as well!
