Session Times

Nursery 

Morning session               8.45am - 11.45am

Extended Lunch session       11.45am - 12.15pm 

Afternoon Session             12.15pm - 3.15pm 

30 Hours (Full Day)               8.45am - 3.15pm 

Reception - Year 6

8:40am - 3:10pm (32.5 hours per week)

Children have slightly staggered lunch breaks to facilitate the serving of hot meals. 

The school has a 'soft opening' approach for Reception-Year 6 meaning that the classroom doors open at 8:40am and remain open until 8:55am. Children arriving between these times may go straight into their classroom and start their morning learning. An adult will be on the door to take any messages. 

Teachers are available at the start and end of the school day for parents to pass on messages. However, any parent who would like a longer conversation with their child's class teacher is asked to arrange this for after the school day or at another mutually convenient time. Should you wish to email the class teacher, please email admin@thepinesschool.org.uk who will redirect your email to the appropriate staff member. 

Please inform the School Office if your child is being brought or collected at other times, or by any other authorised person. If children arrive after the start of the day, they will need to be signed in by the office who can ensure they are registered and have ordered lunch. 

Children are never released during the school day without parental consent.
