Key Mathematics Fluency Facts

It is really important to make key knowledge 'stick' so our brains can work harder using that knowledge to understand new concepts or solve problems. What we call our 'working brain' in Maths, needs to be focused on what we need to do with the information and numbers rather than the numbers themselves.

These documents below show all the fluency knowledge it would be wonderful for the children to have by the end of each year group. By having, we mean know fluently - off by heart - by rote.
